The San Francisco College Access Center (SFCAC) strives to provide culturally competent comprehensive college preparation information and assistance. SF College Access Center program targets students who are low income and the first of their gamily to attend post-secondary educational programs. SFCAC provides assistance and support for high school students through the following activities to help them stay on track throughout their educational paths and continue to college: college, finanical aid information, and application assistance; educational advising; career exploration; college campus field trips; tutoring; SAT/ACT test information. SFCAC serves several schools within SFUSD, including: Burton High school, Mission High school, Thurgood Marshall Academic High school, George Washington High school, and Academy of Arts and Sciences. SFCAC educational advisors provide unique programs to address the specific needs of their respective schools.
