Language and Arts Summer Camp - hosted by the San Francisco Public Montessori Educational Enrichment Foundation. This full time language, arts and discovery summer day camp program will be offered over 6 weeks between June 1st to July 10th and is available for all 6 weeks or on a weekly basis. Grades: K - 5th Location: Yick Wo Elementary School, 2245 Jones St, San Francisco, CA 94133 This fun, exciting and enriching program is an extension of the Language Immersion and Arts After School Program at the San Francisco Public Montessori School, and will include language instruction in either Mandarin or Spanish and a variety of art, crafts, STEM-based science and lego projects, naturalist and wildlife presentations, games, swimming, cooking, gardening, music, play and weekly field trips. Previous language experience is not necessary. Each morning will focus on your child’s choice of activity and language instruction (Spanish or Mandarin Chinese) taught through engaging instruction, music, arts and crafts. Afternoons will offer exploration and discovery through extra-curricular and physical activities and weekly field trips to museums and other destinations, such as the Exploratorium, California Academy of Sciences, SF Zoo, the Randall Museum, the Aquarium of the Bay, and Crissy Field / Presidio.
