Youth Led and Youth Run are the orders of the day at Chinatown CDC's core teen leadership programs. Both programs are designed for youth leaders to organize and direct community service projects including neighborhood cleanups and intergenerational activities with low income seniors and children as well as workshops on disaster preparedness and safety. Adopt-An-Alleyway (AAA) Youth Project is all about neighborhood beautification and focuses on 41 alleyways in Chinatown. Youth for SRO's (YSRO) engages young people in community service to improve the quality of life for single room occupancy hotel residents. The office is open from 9am-6pm Monday through Friday, but service project hours vary and are often on evenings and weekends.
