The Summer Reading program kicks off June 14th with events at several local libraries as well as the Main Library. See our Events Page for more information and links to the events.

 



Summer Lunch ProgramSummer Lunch

Every Monday through Friday, from June 23 through August 15, 2008, everyone ages 18 and younger can enjoy a healthy, hot lunch for FREE at any of 107 designated locations throughout San Francisco. Children and youth must arrive at the location during  serving times. Not all sites are open all summer. Serving times vary by location. Click here for more information.

• Neighboorhood Parks Council Park Workday at several local parks. Volunteer in your community. FREE
• Northern California Pirate Festival at the Vallejo Waterfront. Held Saturday & Sunday. FREE
• Target Free Days at the de Young Museum this weekend in celebration of the opening of the Chihuly exhibit. Held Saturday & Sunday. FREE
