 A high quality essay on a college application can sometimes be the deciding factor for admission. Join Ruth Kirschner, local author, playwright and educator to learn strategies and tips for writing an effective and personal college essay. Ruth will provide guideline exercises that elicit ideas for your topic, ideas that can develop into a compelling story. She will share elements of great essays, organizational tips, as well as what NOT to write in a personal essay. Ruth brings a decade of experience as an educational consultant navigating the application process with high school students. This workshop is intended for high school seniors.
