San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker

San Francisco Ballet Nutcracker Presentation and Workshop at the Main Library
On Sunday, December 16, see members of the San Francisco Ballet perform The Nutcracker, a spectacular show they are known for all over the world. Kids ages 6 to 13 can then attend a movement workshop after the presentation. Families who participate in both the presentation and the workshop are eligible to receive free tickets to a performance at the War Memorial Opera House. The Dance-Along Nutcracker at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts
Ratified! The Year of the Rat is coming! This year the rats put a new twist on the Nutcracker's tale! This is the most fun your kids will have this holiday season! Get all dressed up and join the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band for the show that mixes Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite with tutu rentals, a costumed Sousa band, and an audience of Sugar Plum wannabes.

Marin Ballet’s Nutcracker at Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael
Things are changing at Marin Ballet’s version of the Nutcracker. There will be two new scenes by former SF Ballet dancer Julia Adam. There will also be a new set and new costume designs.
