Description
In this spectacular museum of living plants, visitors are taken away to a relaxing climate. Galleries include the lowland tropics, aquatic plants, potted plants, and highland tropics. Check the website for special exhibits!Cost

Inside the Park: The Shuttle Service, a public service of the Golden Gate Park Concourse Authority, operates 9am–6pm weekends, public school vacation days, and major holidays. Starting at McLaren Lodge on the eastern edge of the Park and Ocean Beach on the western side, black Bauer shuttles pick up and drop off passengers at 15 Park locations, including the UCSF garage. Tickets are $2 for an all-day, round trip pass.

*Strollers are not allowed indoors and must be left in the atrium.
*The aquatic plant exhibit is open and not fenced in and therefore presents an easy fall for toddlers. You may want to carry your little one in a sling for this part of your journey.
