Description
Eureka Valley Recreation Center employee Don Franklin, aka The Sole Man, runs a fishing boat out of Fisherman's Wharf. In the summer, The Sole Man offers a three-week course, Bite Me: Shark Fishing 101, that teaches kids about bay conservation, fishing, and boating skills. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, kids attend two-hour classroom sessions at Eureka Valley Recreation Center. On Fridays, The Sole Man and campers head out on the boat for a bay adventure.

Dates: July 8–July 25 and July 29–August 15

- Fisherman's Wharf, Fridays, four hours, time TBD
Cost: $46 per session. San Francisco residents are eligible for financial aid.
