The Children’s Creativity Museum is an interactive art and technology museum for kids. Its mission is to nurture the 3C’s of 21st-century skills – creativity, collaboration and communication – in all youth and families. They believe that the ability to think critically, collaborate broadly, communicate effectively, and generate and prototype multiple solutions, is the core of a 21st-century education.
Early Birdles is an hour-long hands-on play-based workshop for kids ages 5 and under that includes movement, live music, and collaborative storytelling. Workshops are held every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 10am–11am and costs $5 for member and $10 for non-members. The workshop is FREE on the first Wednesdays of each month.
Drop in with the kids for a DIY Studio Workshop, offered to kids ages 3 to 12, Wednesdays through Fridays, 10am–4pm. Participants learn how to work with a variety of materials and recycled objects. Workshops are drop-in and require no additional payment or registration.
The museum’s C.I.T.Y. (Creative Inspiration Through Youth) Teen Program is designed for high school kids to gain job experience and useul life skills. Participants work with museum professionals to develop programs, interact with visitors, and learn about how to run a state-of-the-art museum.

- Game Design with Scratch Programming: August 19–August 23, ages 9 to 12

Party packages feature access to a private party room, a birthday coordinator, admission to the museum, party supplies, and themed activities ranging from treasure hunts and crafts to movie making and clay animation. Themed party packages range from $225–$450 for members and $275–$500 for non-members.

The museum is located in the Yerba Buena Gardens complex next to the Moscone Convention Center.
Difficult street parking but parking garages are available at 5th and Mission and on 3rd between Howard and Folsom.

*When the kids get restless, take them to the awesome park next door that has two giant slides and lots of space to run around. The skating rink and bowling alley are right next door as well.
