Description

The visitor to Spring Lake Park will find an exciting array of displays and exhibits to enjoy at the Visitor Center as well as a number of interpretive projects especially designed to delight children of all ages. Not only that, but Spring Lake hosts a variety of activites, such as biking, hiking, swimming (with lifeguards on duty), barbecuing, fishing, and camping.

The campground offers 30 family-style campsites and is open daily in the summer and on weekends and holidays in the winter. Showers and a dump station are available. There is also a group campsite that may be reserved. Maps are available and so is information about guided and self-guided nature tours and other activities for the whole family.

What We've Heard

"We had our annual family camping trip at the group site and it was great! We had clean bathrooms, plenty of room for the kids to run and explore. We went to the lake and enjoyed the clean beach. A beautiful park so close to the City, it only took about 80 minutes to get there."

--Chris L.

"We live in Santa Rosa and enjoy a park that offers so many things for families to do. My two kids love going to the beach and biking on the paved trails. My husband loves the par course and used to push my kids in the jogging stroller when they were little."

--Lynn K.
