Description
From afterschool homework help to chess clubs and preschool movie dates, knitting and writing workshops for teens, or taking in the family entertainment, your local library branch has a lot to offer. Check the SFPL website for your local branch and browse their current offerings. You can visit any library in the City. During the summer all libraries offer a special summer reading program with prizes for youth and teens. These programs are always free, fun, and educational!

*Every San Franciscan can get a FREE library card!
*If you need help, just ask. There are plenty of friendly staff members to help.
*You can usually find more than one library open any day of the week.  Several are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
*There are no late fees for books checked out by children.
