Description
Across the street from the Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy elementary school, the Eureka Valley Playground is a large, renovated playground. There is a tennis court, basketball courts, a baseball diamond, a dog run, and a new play structure. The recreation center hosts a Tiny Tots (Tot Time), Tot Gym, Tot Music, Tot Picasso, Tot Space, Tot Sports, and Youth Basketball Jr. Warriors team practices. The center also hosts Nannies Time Out, an informal support group for caregivers to share ideas, resources, and provide professional support to each other.
Next to the playground is KidSpace, in which the San Francisco Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center's youth and young adults drop in for different programs.
Eureka hosts the Bite Me: Shark Fishing 101 with The Sole Man camp.
