Description

This case-management program for teenage parents and parents-to-be that is sponsored by the Department of Children, Youth and their Families, provides wonderful services for free, in both English and Spanish. Counselors help teens get access to health services, education, and social services that are available to them. TAPP's goal is to reduce second births to teenage parents, keep these young parents in school, and reduce the number of low birth-weight babies that are born to teens.

TAPP offers support in child development and parenting education, child care support services, nutrition and health education, job readiness, mental health programs, relationship violence prevention, and academic counseling.
