Description
Minutes away from the City, Park Pacifica Stables have beautiful scenic trails and a large covered arena for classes and camps.
Classes:
Well, howdy there, pardner! Saddle up and let the wind whip through your hair as you take a horseback riding and horsemanship skills lesson. Kids ages 6 to 15 can learn how to ride Western or English on a gorgeous horse. They also offer English Discipline, Colt Starting, and Barrel training. Private lessons and group lessons based on different skills start at $65 per lesson.
Camps:
Cowboy/Cowgirl Horsemanship Camp is a week-long program for children that teaches good horsemanship skills. The camp lets kids experience the care and feeding of a horse, different types of riding, ground lessons, and mounted riding every day! Kids will participate in games, nature walks, and arts and crafts.
Bring sunscreen, wear heeled boots, and be ready to ride. Helmets are included in the fees. Kids have lunch in the Corral Steakhouse Cafe. Each camp is limited to ten students.

Days/Times: Mondays through Fridays, 8:30am–3:30pm; bring lunch except on Friday when it's pizza day!
Cost: $450 per week
Extended care: available at $10 per hour

Getting There
From San Francisco, take 280 South to Highway 1 South toward Pacifica. You are close when you see signs to Rockaway Beach. Turn left (head east) at Fassler Avenue. Drive up the hill and turn right at Terra Nova Boulevard. Turn left at Everglades Drive, and then turn left at Oddstad Boulevard. Turn right at Cape Breton Drive. The stables are almost at the end of the road.
