Description

Kids Outdoor Club (KOC) is a unique outdoor program in which kids do a variety of activities every day, including kickball, soccer, flag games, golf, baseball, relay races, nature walks, frisbee, dodge ball, and lots of free play. The founder, Scott Wilkinson, is a father and has been a coach for many years. He believes in positive coaching techniques and promotes a positive, stress-free environment for kids. Parents are encouraged to participate and can avail of lower monthly fees.

KOC Sports coaches kids ages 3 to 12 in a variety of team sports, including soccer, baseball, futsal and basketball, at any skill level from beginner to advanced.

Classes:
Call, email, or check out the website for Kids Outdoor Club to get information on their youth sports offerings, which includes soccer, basketball, futsal, baseball, flag football, and Frisbee disc golf classes and leagues. They have the best coaches in town!

Sign up for afterschool hours in Golden Gate Park, Monday through Friday, 2:30pm–5:30pm. Kids have a choice of sports and games or adventures and hikes. Kids Outdoor Club has a van that can transport kids from any school. They also take special trips to the beach, Lands End, the Marine Mammal Center, and more.

Middle schoolers who have been at Kids Outdoor Club have an opportunity to join their Middle School Junior Coach program. Junior coaches "work" by helping lead a group of young campers on a hike or referee in a sports tournament. There's also time for fun when adult coaches lead sports and take middle schoolers on hikes and other adventures.

Camps:

Kids Outdoor Club is open all summer and additionally open when preschools and public and private schools are on school breaks. Check the website for specific dates when they are open.

Activities include many sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, futsal, flag football, frisbee golf, badminton, kickball, and running. Other fun activities include relay races, nature walks, capture the flag, dancing in the grass, picnic game, jump rope, croquet, capoeira, and much more!
