SFkids.org, San Francisco's Official Family Resource Guide, is a collaboration between the City & County of San Francisco's Department of Children, Youth & Their Families and the non-profit organization GoKid.org. Its mission is to be a dynamic information resource for all San Francisco families with children, from a parent perspective.
The Department of Children, Youth & Their Families enhances the lives and futures of San Francisco's children and youth through innovative partnerships with families, community organizations, city departments, schools, funding agencies, and the private sector. It ensures that families with children are a prominent and valued segment of San Francisco’s social fabric through policy and planning efforts and by supporting events, programs, and activities in every San Francisco neighborhood.
GoKid.org, Inc.'s mission is to create and build community support for families and enhance children's opportunities for intellectual, social, and physical growth by providing access to resources. GoKid encourages parents to be engaged in their children's growth and education and to be involved in their communities by sharing educational, social, athletic, parenting, and community resources.
