Fei Tian Academy of the Arts California

Fei Tian Academy of the Arts California features a unique, world-class training program in classical Chinese dance. Fei Tian emphasizes promoting cultural awareness and appreciation of traditional arts through performances, exhibits, exchange programs, workshops, publications, and various productions for students to have many opportunities to perform and showcase their talents. Faculty and students strive to rediscover China's traditional arts, music, and performance, and share these with a broader audience.

Classes:
Dance classes are offered during afterschool hours for youth ages 12 to 18 and weekends for all ages. Private lessons are also available.

Camps:
Children learn dance, music, and academics in a bilingual environment. The program includes classical Chinese dance classes, math and English tutoring, English writing, reading, creative arts, Chinese literature, social studies, painting, calligraphy, performing arts, field trips, Chinese chess, drawing, and others. Dance teachers are artists from Shen Yun Performing Arts.

2013 Three-week Summer Sessions:
Dates: June 10–June 28, July 1–July 19, July 22–August 9
Ages: 6 to 18
Days/Times: Mondays through Fridays, 9:30am–4pm (full day) or 9:30am–12:30pm or 1pm–4pm (half day)
Cost:   $350 per week (full day), $180–$200 per week (half day)
Extended care: 8:30am–9am and 4pm–6pm ($10 per day)
